In the News: ‘Dream ticket: how sleep became a billion-dollar business’

More and more companies are now investing in their employees’ sleep, as they begin to realise the negative impact of sleeplessness on their employees’ performance.  As explained in an article by the Guardian today, ‘ 200,000 working days a year are lost to absenteeism caused by lack of sleep in the UK, and sleep-deprived workers cost the UK economy £40bn a year.’
